Amish Paste is one of the finest heirloom paste tomatoes for home gardeners who love making homemade salsa, pasta sauce, tomato soup, and canning. Dating back to the Amish communities of the late 1800s, this treasured variety produces large, meaty, bright red fruits with thick flesh, very few seeds, and an outstanding rich tomato flavor. Unlike many paste tomatoes, Amish Paste is also delicious sliced fresh on sandwiches, salads, and burgers.

The vigorous indeterminate plants continue producing throughout the growing season, yielding heavy crops of large, plum-to-oxheart-shaped tomatoes that commonly weigh 8–12 ounces. Their low seed count and dense flesh make them ideal for cooking while still offering excellent fresh eating quality.

Water consistently to help prevent fruit cracking and promote healthy growth.
