🌱Growing Information
How to Grow Cottage Garden Seed Mix from Seed
Planting Depth: ⅛ inch; press seeds into soil and do not cover deeply
Seed Spacing: Scatter lightly over the planting area
Row Spacing: Not required for seed mixes
Germination Time: 7–21 days
Days to Bloom: Approximately 60–90 days, depending on variety
Sun Requirements: Full sun
Planting Tips:
Prepare the planting area by removing weeds and loosening the top layer of soil. Scatter seeds evenly over bare soil and gently press them into the surface for good soil contact. Because many flower seeds germinate best with light, avoid burying the mixture deeply.
Keep the soil lightly moist until seedlings become established. As the different varieties mature, they will create the informal mixture of heights, colors, and bloom shapes characteristic of a traditional cottage garden.
