Asclepias spp. Milkweed is a perennial wildflower essential for Monarch butterflies. It is the only host plant Monarch caterpillars can eat and also provides nectar for adult butterflies and other pollinators. Milkweed produces fragrant clusters of flowers and is well suited for pollinator gardens, native plantings, and naturalized areas.
