Papaver rhoeas. Ballerina Poppy Mix is a stunning blend of delicate, crepe-paper blooms in shades of red, pink, salmon, rose, white, and bi-colored flowers. These graceful annuals create a beautiful cottage garden display and attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators throughout the growing season. Ballerina Poppies are easy to grow and perform best when direct sown into the garden, where they readily naturalize and provide a colorful display year after year through self-seeding.

Planting Tips:
Direct sow seeds outdoors in early spring as soon as the soil can be worked or in late fall for earlier blooms the following season. Poppies dislike transplanting, so direct seeding is recommended. Scatter seeds over finely prepared soil and gently press them into the surface, as light helps promote germination. Keep the soil lightly moist until seedlings emerge. Thin plants to provide good air circulation. Allow some flowers to mature and drop seed if you'd like natural reseeding for future seasons.
