Cucumis melo var. flexuosus. Armenian Cucumber is a unique heirloom that produces long, slender, light green fruits with tender, ribbed skin and a crisp, mild, never-bitter flavor. Despite its name, it is actually a type of melon. Excellent for fresh eating, salads, slicing, and pickling. Vigorous vines thrive in hot weather and produce heavily throughout the growing season.

🌱Growing Information
How to Grow Armenian Cucumber from Seed

Planting Depth: ½–1 inch
Seed Spacing: 12 inches
Row Spacing: 48–72 inches
Germination Time: 7–14 days
Days to Harvest: 60–70 days
Sun Requirements: Full Sun

Planting Tips:
Sow seeds directly outdoors after all danger of frost has passed and the soil has warmed, or start indoors 3–4 weeks before transplanting. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil and provide consistent moisture during the growing season. Trellising is recommended for straighter fruits and improved air circulation, though vines may also be allowed to sprawl on the ground. Harvest when fruits are 12–18 inches long for the best flavor and texture, and pick regularly to encourage continued production.
